The ambassador project
A dedicated “WCD Ambassadors” page was launched on WCD2023 website to mark their involvement and give visibility to the project
Every four years the World Congress of Dermatology hosts dermatologists from all over the world to present science and solutions to advance the field.
In Milan in 2019 more than 16500 delegates coming from 149 different countries participated to the congress so we can proudly state that diversity and inclusiveness are essential values of WCD.
Reaching and engaging a large and heterogeneous audience will not be possible without the contribution of the global dermatology community. To this end we have put together the WCD Ambassadors Programme and invited eminent international dermatologists and experts from around the world to help us in the promotion of the WCD2023.
The response was outstanding, 106 Ambassadors enthusiastically accepted our invitation and, on October 28th, a dedicated “WCD Ambassadors” page was launched on WCD2023 website to mark their involvement and give visibility to the project.
WCD Ambassadors are grouped into 6 regions (Africa & Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and Oceania. Do check out the WCD Ambassadors page. They will take part at various events and activities that will be held in the run-up to WCD 2023.
